Air Fried-Air Fryer-Rib-Eye Steaks with Chipotle Butter


Butter Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup soft butter
  • 1 tablespoon chiptole chiles
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Dry Rub:

  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teapoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper (black)
  • 1/2 teapsoon brown sguar

Steaks: This butter butter sauce and dry rub will cover 4 Rib-Eyes, adjust your recipe accordingly.


  1. First start off by grabbing the steaks from the refrigerator, and let them rest on the counter for about 20 minutes.

  2. Then make the dry rub, by combining salt, chili powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, pepper and brown sugar.

  3. Then rub the dry rub over the steak, both sides.

  4. Set the steak into the air fryer basket.

  5. Set the timer for 7 minutes at 400 degrees F. 

  6. Then flip the steak.

  7. Set the time for 400 degrees, for 5 minutes.

  8. Meanwhile, make the butter:

    Combine the softened butter, chipotle, brown sugar and salt.

    Mix well.

  9. Remove the steak and place it on a cutting board, to let it rest.

  10. Plate, serve and top with butter.
