In a saucepan, combine the bourbon, maple syrup, chopped apple, 1 tbsp of garlic powder, and butter.
Bring to a boil. Cook for about 6-7 minutes, turn down the heat and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Remove from heat. Set aside.
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F, air fryer setting.
Drizzle the chicken in olive oil. Sprinkle on salt, black pepper, and the rest of the garlic powder. Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for about 18-20 minutes - turning once halfway through.
Once the skin is crispy and the chicken is thoroughly cooked (It should be 165 degrees internally.), you can remove them from the heat. Once they’ve cooled for a few minutes, place them in a bowl.
Place the apple bourbon sauce you set aside earlier into a food processor or blender. Mix until the apples are no longer chunks.
Pour the apple bourbon sauce onto the chicken legs & toss until they’re fully covered. Plate the wings and garnish with a little chopped rosemary and black pepper.
Plate, serve, and enjoy!
