Description

This is an easy recipe for cheesecake brownies. You can use a boxed mix, which will make this really easy.

Ingredients 

  • 1 package brownie mix, any type
  • ingredients for the above brownie mix, according to the package
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Prepare the Brownie Batter: In a mixing bowl, prepare your favorite brownie batter according to the package instructions or your preferred recipe. Ensure the batter is smooth and well-combined.
  • Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture: In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until creamy and well-incorporated.
  • Layer the Batter: Pour half of the brownie batter into the bottom of a greased baking pan suitable for the air fryer. Spread it evenly with a spatula.
  • Add Cream Cheese Swirl: Dollop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter in the pan. Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the cream cheese into the brownie batter, creating a marbled effect.
  • Top with Remaining Batter: Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly to cover the cream cheese mixture.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to the temperature specified in your brownie recipe or to around 320°F (160°C) for most brownie recipes.
  • Bake in the Air Fryer: Place the baking pan with the brownie batter into the preheated air fryer basket. Cook for the recommended time, typically 20-25 minutes, or until the brownies are set around the edges but still slightly gooey in the center.
  • Cool and Serve: Once cooked, remove the brownies from the air fryer and allow them to cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, carefully transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing into squares and serving.
