Description

Baked Pears in the Air Fryer are a healthy alternative to traditional oven-roasted recipes. They come out with the same crispy texture and sweet flavor as when traditionally cooked but without all of the excess oil. The recipe is so easy to follow that even beginners can make it! You can make this healthy dessert in minutes. Trust me, you'll love air fried pears!

Ingredients 

  • 2 medium pears, sliced in half, cored
  • 1 tablespoons granualted sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter, unsalted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the ground cinnamon and sugar. Then sprinkle over the pears.
  • Add one tablespoon of butter to each pear cavity, and then sprinkle with the cinnamon/sugar mixture and chopped nuts if using.
  • Set the pears into the air fryer basket and set the temperature to 370 degrees F, air fryer setting.
  • Set the timer for 10 minutes, frequently basting during the cooking time with melted butter.
  • Drizzle with butter and honey, right before serving.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
