AIR FRYER TOMATOES WITH CHEESE

This easy-to-make side dish will surely delight both young and old, as its perfectly crispy outside texture and the gooey goodness of melted cheese create an irresistible flavor combination.

This meal is an excellent accompaniment to any main course and requires few ingredients and minimal prep time – perfect for busy weeknights or those unexpected dinner guests!

Ingredients

- Tomatoes - Shredded Cheese - Olive Oil - Garlic Powder

Step One: 

Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees F (190°C). Wash and dry the tomatoes. Slice them in half horizontally.

Arrange the tomato halves in the air fryer basket or tray, and cut side up. Make sure they are not touching to allow for proper airflow. Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the tomato halves.

Step Two:

Sprinkle the garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper over the tomatoes. Top each tomato half with an even amount of the shredded cheese.

Step Three: 

Place the basket or tray in the air fryer. Cook the tomatoes at 375°F (190°C) for about 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.

Carefully remove the tomatoes from the air fryer (they will be hot), and let them cool for a minute or two.
