FAQ’s:

Why do you use baking soda in the ice tea?

Baking soda is used a lot in sweet teas because it takes the bitterness of the black tea. And it makes for a smoother tea overall.

Just be sure to use baking soda and not baking powder.

After the Instant Pot makes the tea, let it cool to room temperature, pour it into a pitcher, and place it into the refrigerator.

It is best if used up within three days of brewing. If you have any leftovers after the third day, dispose of them and brew another batch.

Pro Tips:

  • Use good quality tea bags; they make all of the difference.
  • Ensure that the vent is completely sealed. Otherwise, your kitchen will end up quite a mess.
