Instant Pot BBQ Pulled Pork

Delicious Instant BBQ Pulled Pork
Ingredients
- Pork Roast, (Anything between 2 to 3lbs)
- Any spices you'd like. (I just used salt, pepper and garlic)
- ¼ cup of Vegetable oil
- 2 cups of chicken broth or just use water
- 16oz of BBQ Sauce (your choice)
Instructions
- Cut your roast to fit in the Instant Pot
- Turn on the saute button and let it warm up with the vegetable oil inside it. (It's done warming up, when it starts to sizzle)
- When it's sizzling hot, add your pork. Sear each side of the pork for 3 minutes.
- Then add 2 cups of chicken broth or water
- Now close the lid on the pot and hit Meat/Stew button and Add 90 minutes to the time.
- Once it is done, let is naturally release for 10 minutes. (check the instruction manual, if you don't know how to do this)
- Put onto a plate and shred. You can eat it now as is or do the BBQ option.
- My kids love BBQ sauce. .
- So, I put the shredded pork back into the pot with the BBQ sauce, with about ½ of water
- Press the manual button, high pressure, and change the minutes to 5. Do a quick release and dig in once it's cooled a little.
