A big bowl of Greek Salad. I love a great big salad it goes with so many of my meals, and really provides a great fresh flavor, so whether you are preparing my air fryer ribs or air fryer pork chops, this is a great and healthy side dish.
In America if you order a Greek Salad, you will get a garden salad with some feta and olives on top, which is so not a Greek Salad. In a classical Greek Salad there is no lettuce.
I grew up with many Greek friends, and one of the first Greek Dishes I grew to really love was a great Greek Salad. Filled with feta, red onions, tomatoes, olives, and the easy homemade Greek Salad Dressing. It was a great blend of flavors, and it was usually served with a slice of spanakopita. I loved it!

There are many variations of this recipe. If you search the internet, I went with a classic Greek Salad. With fresh vegetables, olives, and a sprinkle of Feta cheese. Some recipes add in avocados, which I never had, so I omitted them, but if you are looking for even more vegetables in this salad, dice a couple of avocados and toss them in.

A lot of the recipes out there call for regular black olives. In a true Greek Salad, Kalamata Olives are used.

Greek salad is very low in calories, but it provides a lot of Vitamins, such as Vitamins A and C. It is a grreat side dish to serve with most meals.
Can This Salad Be Prepped Ahead Of Time?
Yes, because the longer this salad marinates in the refrigerator, the better it gets. There are no leafy greens to get wilted.
My suggestion would be to hold off on adding the dressing and fresh herbs and then dress the salad right before serving.
