Celsius – Fork To Spoon – Cooking Times

This Cooking Chart will work for both baskets and air fryer ovens. Please note that it is a general guide, and each air fryer cooks differently. So, for best results watch your food as it cooks up!

You will get perfectly cooked food every single time!

For best results, I would recommend using a meat thermometer when you are cooking proteins.

How accurate are these times and temps for air fryers?

I have used about 30 different air fryers, during my cooking adventures at ForkToSpoon, and the time is usually the same, within a couple of minutes.

For best results, when cooking in the air fryer, especially if it’s new, is to watch your food while it’s cooking. Shake the basket several times during the cooking process, which will let you know how it’s doing. If you have an air fryer oven, use a pair of tongs to flip the food.

Air Fryer Tips:

  1. One of the biggest errors that people make when cooking food in the air fryer, is that they do not watch the food cook up. I always watch my food and shake it several times during the cooking process.
  2. Shaking the air fryer basket or using tongs to flip the food, will ensure that it will fully get cooked evenly and properly.
  3. For most recipes, you do not need to preheat your air fryer. The food will cook properly without it, the only time I really use the preheat function is when I am cooking up steak, or meat, that I want a great sear on the outside.

Air Fryers I Love:

One of the most common questions I get asked is what air fryer should I purchase. I usually do not answer this. To me, it’s like asking what car you would purchase.

My advice is always based on the person’s answer to how many people are you cooking for and what are you making in the air fryer.

If you are making frozen foods, primarily. I would recommend an air fryer basket since I find that most frozen foods, cook better in an air fryer basket, and you can shake the basket during the cooking time.

If you are baking with the air fryer, or need to to make larger quantities, I would recommend an air fryer oven model:
