Air Fryer Thumbprint Cookies

 

Air Fryer Thumbprint Cookies are one of my favorite cookies. I love making them for the Holiday season.

My mother used to have a saying for cooking. She would say that pies are for November and cookies are all December. I love making cookies, especially when you have small children, and they are looking for a treat.

If you have not made cookies in the air fryer, they are simple. Really Simple, I usually make them while I am cleaning the kitchen. Talk about multitasking! And at the end, you only have one pan to clean up, which I wash by hand, and the entire kitchen is cleaned, no mess.

Here Is How To Make Air Fryer Thumbprint Cookies In Your Air Fryer

Ingredients:

  • Granulated Sugar
  • Unsalted Butter
  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Pure Vanilla Extract
  • Egg
  • Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Simple Directions:

  1. Start by mixing the sugar and the butter together, which will help the cookies become light and fluffy.
  2. Then add in the flour, vanilla extract, egg, baking powder, and salt, mix well.
  3. Spray your air fryer pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  4. Using an ice cream scooper,
  5. As you scop them onto the greased tray, use a spoon to level them.
  6. Use your thumb to make an indent, and then fill with your choice of jam. (I used raspberry)
  7. Set in the air fry and set the temperature to 320 degrees F for 5 minutes. Let the cookies cool slightly before removing them.
  8. Plate, serve, and enjoy!
