So, the next time you are looking for a great snack, dessert, or mini pie, this is the recipe for you. And since you can make a lot at one time (depending on the size of your air fryer), you can bring them to picnics, and parties or serve them when people come over to your house for a get-together.

While I love lemon, you can make these with almost any pie filling, I happened to really love lemon in the summer, so I thought this would make a great treat for the family.

Air Fryer Lemon Tarts

I grew up in the Boston area, where there are amazing pastry shops all around me, so getting a late-night snack, was so easy.

When I move out of the Boston area, I noticed that I had a hard time getting dessert, a lot of places were not open late, so I turned to the air fryer to make some late-night desserts. This is one of my favorites.

There is nothing better than lemon in the spring and summer! Serve with a fresh lemon wedge and some whipped cream for a great treat!

Let the pie shells cool quickly while you make the pudding (if using pudding), per directions on the package.

Fill your pie shell with the prepared pudding or pie filling. Spray some whipped cream (or cool whip) and garnish with diced lemons.

What Other Pie Shells Could You Use?

You can also use either homemade pie dough or refrigerated pie crust for this recipe. I have made them several times with a butter tart shell, and they have come out fabulously!

Another great option would be to use puff pastry for the shell of this pie.

CAN I MAKE THE TARTS IN DIFFERENT SIZES?

Depending on your air fryer, you could make this a larger size tart. Or use the normal size graham cracker crust and then air fry for the same amount of time.

You can also make a homemade graham cracker crust of any size by mixing butter and graham cracker crumbs.

WHAT OTHER PIE FILLING COULD I USE?

You can use any canned pie filling for this. I have made these successfully, using:

  • Blueberry Pie Filling
  • Raspberry Pie Filling
  • Strawberry Pie Filling
  • Almond Pie Fill
  • Chocolate Pie Filling

HOW TO STORE LEMON TARTS?

If you have any lemon tarts leftover, let them cool to room temperature, and then place them into an airtight container and place them into the refrigerator.

They will last between 2 to 3 days before getting soggy.
