Pro Tips For The Best Air Fried Mushrooms

  • Wash and Dry: Wash and dry your mushrooms, remember never to submerge them into a bowl of water, otherwise they will become full of water. Instead, use a kitchen towel, or paper towel, wet it a bit, and rub the mushroom.
  • Fillings: You can use all sorts of filling for this recipe, you can use ground sausage, ground beef, or turkey. Just make sure that your meat filling is fully cooked.
  • Timing: Since every air fryer is slightly different, remember that you need to watch these stuffed mushrooms up, as they cook!

How Do I Wash The Mushrooms, Before Air Frying?

Easy, rinse the mushrooms with cold water, and then dry them with a paper towel.  If you put the mushrooms into a bowl of water, they will become lodged with water. So, never soak a mushroom, and always use paper towels or a kitchen towel to dry them off. Otherwise, they will not crisp up.

If you have any leftovers, let them cool to room temperature and then place it into an airtight container. Place the container into the refrigerator; they should last between 2 to 3 days.

Can I Freeze The Stuffed Mushrooms?

Yes, but you would freeze them before you air fry them. Follow the instructions for stuffing them, and then before the step for airing them. Place them on a baking sheet.
