Air Fryer Strawberry & Cream Mug Cake is the perfect cake, filled with fresh strawberries and topped with fresh whipped cream; it makes a great breakfast, dessert, or snack!

I love a great air fryer mug cake, they are amazing! And if you are like me, one of the reasons that you purchased an air fryer was for cooking for 1 or 2 people. So, while you may love to have a great air fryer cake, a mug cake will come in very handy, and they take very little time to make in the air fryer.

So, if you are looking for a quick and easy dessert, this is one of my favorites. Filled with fresh strawberries, this is a very moist and delicious cake.

What Size Mug?

One of the most common questions everyone asks me. I tell everyone to use whatever mug that they own that is oven safe. Because usually if something is oven safe it is air fryer safe.

If you are not sure if your mugs are oven safe, grab a ramekin, or a small oven-safe bowl. They will both work just as well.

Note: The deeper your mug is, the less your mug will be filled, so if you want to fill the entire mug, double the recipe. It will work the same. Although please remember the cooking time might be increased since the air fryer has more to cook up.

With only a few ingredients, your cake bakes up this cake right in the air fryer. Today’s cake was filled with fresh strawberries (a great idea for strawberry season, which is right around the corner)

Pro Tips

A delicious Air Fryer Strawberry & Cream Mug Cake can be delightful. Here are some pro tips to help you achieve the best results:

  • Use Fresh Ingredients: Fresh strawberries will give your cake the best flavor. Make sure they’re ripe and sweet.
  • Properly Prepare Your Mug: Grease the mug with a little butter or cooking spray to prevent the cake from sticking.
  • Mix Ingredients Well: Ensure all the ingredients are well combined, but don’t overmix. Overmixing can lead to a dense cake.
  • Layering: Consider layering the strawberries and batter in the mug for a more even flavor distribution.
  • Adjust Cooking Time: Cooking times can vary depending on the wattage of your air fryer. Start with the recommended time, but be prepared to adjust accordingly.
  • Check for Doneness: Use a toothpick to check if the cake is cooked. Insert it into the center of the cake; if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
  • Let it Rest: Allow the cake to cool for a few minutes before serving. This helps it set and prevents burning your mouth on hot fruit.
  • Add Toppings: Garnish your mug cake with a dollop of whipped cream or a sprinkle of powdered sugar for an extra indulgence.
  • Experiment: Feel free to experiment with different toppings or additions, like chocolate chips or a drizzle of strawberry syrup for added flavor.
  • Enjoy Fresh: Mug cakes are best enjoyed fresh out of the air fryer while still warm and moist.

Remember, practice makes perfect! Adjust the recipe to suit your taste preferences and experiment with different variations until you find your perfect Air Fryer Strawberry & Cream Mug Cake.
