What Is A Ribeye Steak?

A ribeye steak, also known as a Delmonico or Spencer steak, is cut from the rib section of beef. What sets it apart from other cuts is its marbling – ample pockets of fat that melt while cooking and give the steak its signature tenderness and rich flavor. Ribeyes can be prepared in a variety of ways, but they are often grilled or pan-seared to preserve their juicy goodness.

Today, we used our air fryer for a perfect air fryer steak! This succulent cut is highly prized by steak connoisseurs and is a popular choice for special occasions or indulgent meals. How Long To Cook Air Fryer Rib Eye Steak

When it comes to cooking a delicious rib eye steak in the air fryer, the question of “how long” can vary based on a few factors.

Firstly, the size and thickness of the steak will affect the cooking time. A thin cut may only take 4-5 minutes on each side, while a thicker cut may need 6-7 minutes per side. Secondly, personal preference also plays a role in determining cooking time.

A rare steak may only need to be cooked for 4 minutes per side, while medium or well-done steaks may require additional time.
