Description

My husband likes these, so I tried making them in the air fryer, the first time, they tasted ok, but they didn't rise, so I changed the temperature halfway through the cooking process, and they rose. So, puff pastry needs the heat at 400 degrees F for the last 3 minutes to get the rise. If you notice in the pictures, I also turned them so that both sides get evenly cooked.

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen turnovers

Instructions

  • Spread the frozen pastries out in an air fryer tray or basket. Set the temperature to 350 degrees F (air fryer setting) for 5 minutes.
  • After the 5 minutes, flip the pastries and air fry at 400 degrees F (air fryer setting) for 2 minutes. Just long enough to get the height of the pastry and the other side to be cooked.
  • Plate, serve and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Air Fryer, Air Fryer Basket or Air Fryer Oven
