My family really enjoys a great taco dinner. So, today, I made a simple Air Fryer Poblano Chicken Fajitas.
Today, I air-fried the onions and poblano into the air fryer while prepping the chicken. This air fryer can do it all!!
If you are looking for a tasty chicken fajitas for either dinner or lunch, this is the recipe for you!
What Are Fajitas?
They are a Tex-Mex or a Mexican inspired dish with chopped pieces of diced meat, usually topped with onions and peppers, and then topped with an assortment of toppings.
For the diced meat, you can use anything. The most common are steak, chicken, and cooked hamburger meat.
The only difference between a taco and fajitas is that the taco shell is usually fried and has a hard shell.
Chicken Fajitas in the Air Fryer
A traditional chicken fajita is served with roasted peppers and onions. Add some chicken and your assortment of toppings.
The key is to really season the chicken well. You can either buy your fajitas seasoning or make it. Either way, flavor the chicken, both front and back, and then when you got to air fry the meat, spray some olive on top. Your chicken will come out amazingly juicy!
I will tell you; I have fallen in love with roasted Poblano Peppers, so today, I roasted them with onions and made myself a great lunch!
