It is the time to eat healthily, and of course, that means with both my Air Fryer and my Instant Pot.
So, I started this morning, by drinking my coffee and playing with Brussels sprouts. And, I have to tell you, they make a very fine breakfast when they are air fried, especially when they are coated with maple syrup.
I used little ingredients, except for olive oil, because my youngest son is allergic to coconut oil, and seriously, I was hoping that you would try these.
My oldest son, Ethan loved them, unfortunately for my youngest son, they were gone and eaten by his older brother, by the time he awakened.
Brussel sprouts are one of the most overlooked vegetables in the supermarket aisle, they are basically little cabbages. They are usually available year-round.

This is one of the greatest flavors, the roasting from the Brussels Sprouts and the mapel syrup, gives you a great, great flavor. So good, even my kids request it now!
- 1 pound Brussels Sprouts
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
These are the Brussel Sprouts I used in this recipe.
I cut them in half, for the larger ones, I cut them in 4 pieces.
In a large mixing bowl, mix together the maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well, to coat all of the Brussels Sprouts.
Lay them out in your air fryer tray or in the air fryer basket.
Place the tray in the oven. Set the temperature to 400 degrees F, for 4 minutes then either shake the basket or flip the Brussel Sprouts. Set the air fryer for another 4 minutes.
Plate, serve and enjoy!
