How To Cook Air Fryer Nathan’s Onion Rings

I always like to start frozen onion rings in a preheated air fryer. So, if you have a preheat option, press it. Otherwise, preheat an air fryer without that feature. Run your air fryer for about 5 minutes at 350 degrees F, air fryer setting. This will heat up your air fryer.

The important thing to remember is that unlike the commercials, where they have the air fryer basket loaded to the brim, they WILL NOT cook if you load them that way.

How To Cook Air Fryer Nathan's Onion Rings

The best way to cook frozen onion rings is in a single layer, Without crowing or stacking the onion rings. This means, that if you have a smaller air fryer basket, you will need to do several runs to finish your family’s side dish.

Set the onion rings in there for about 5 to 7 minutes, shaking halfway, if you have a basket air fryer. Otherwise, if you have an oven type, pull out your pair of tongs and flip them halfway.
