There is nothing like a fresh burger made in the air fryer, tender, and juicy meat. Burgers are amazing in the air fryer and so much easier and faster than the grill.

So if you are a burger connoisseur, you will absolutely fall in love with this juicy burger and its oozing flavor. The secret to a great burger lies in the seasoning.

Today, a classic mushroom and swiss burger was served in a brioche bun with melted shredded cheese. Truly amazing and so flavorful. For a topping, I added a healthy topping of sautéed mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • Lean Ground Beef
  • Steak Seasoning
  • Shredded Swiss Cheese
  • Mushrooms
  • Brioche Buns

How To Make Air Fryer Mushroom & Swiss Burgers

Air Fryer Mushroom & Swiss Burgers

In a large bowl, mix the ground beef and steak seasoning. Then preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, for about 5 minutes.

Form your beef into patties, and then press the middle with your thumb. (This will help your patties keep their shape as they cook up)

Place the patties into the air fryer, and set the temperature to 10 minutes, flipping halfway. When there is about 1 minute left, spread the shredded cheese on top of the burgers, and place it back into the air fryer until the cheese is melted.

To Serve: Place on a Brioche Bun and add a healthy scoop of the sauteed mushrooms.

Some Pro Tips:

  • Flip halfway and use a meat thermometer to check on the burgers. There is nothing worse than a dried-out burger from overcooking.
  • If you want to use slices of Swiss cheese, substitute them out. I went with traditional Swiss Cheese, but you can use any of your favorite cheeses.
  • Add some onions; there is nothing better with sauteed mushrooms than sauteed onions.
  • I used an 80/20 burger, but you can use any lean meat cut.
