I love baking in the air fryer. It makes amazing cakes, light, moist, and absolutely delicious. Today, I made a simple Air Fryer Lemon Poppy Seed Bundt Cake.
While most people have not tried baking in the air fryer, I find it fun. It’s like my own easy bake oven. I like watching the cakes, cookies, brownies, and even pastry cook up right in front of my eyes, in the air fryer.
If you have not tried making a cake in your air fryer, I hope that you will try it soon, you will be simply amazed.
The recommendation that I will give you is that bundt cake pans were made from the air fryer, or maybe it’s the other way around. Either way, bundt cakes are amazingly easy in the air fryer.
How To Bake A Cake In the Air Fryer
Air Fryer Lemon Poppy Seed Bundt Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- Powdered Sugar, for serving
Simple Directions:
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, poppy seeds, and salt.
- In another mixing bowl, mix the butter, egg, sugar, milk, sour cream, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mix well.
- Spray your bundt cake pan with olive oil spray or non-stick cooking spray.
- Fill your bundt cake pan about 2/3 the way full.
- Set the bundt pan into the air fryer basket.
- Set the temperature to 320 degrees F for 12-15 minutes.
- Before removing, place a toothpick in the center of the cake to make sure it comes out clean. If not, add a few more minutes of cooking time.
- Dust with powdered sugar.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
