Air Fryer, Homemade Chicken Strips, Tender

Easy and delicious, my favorite two things> These are so much better than oven-baked, you get a great crispy texture, that the whole family will love. My kids absolutely love these.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders or strips
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 23 teaspoons seasoning salt (your choice)
  • olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Start by soaking your chicken tenders in the buttermilk for at least 20 minutes.
  2. In another bowl mix together the flour and the seasoning mix.
  3. As you dredge them into the flour, place them on a greased air fryer tray or in the greased air fryer basket.t
  4. Spray generously with olive oil. So, that you don’t see any of the white flour.
  5. Place the basket or tray into the air fryer, and set the temperature to 370 degrees F, for 7 minutes.
  6. After 7 minutes, flip the chicken, spray GENEROUSLY with the olive oil. And then plate, serve and enjoy!
