How To Perfectly Air Fry Peaches
Step 1: Preparation
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F on the air fryer setting. In a small bowl, combine butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.
Step 2: Oil Peaches
With a sharp knife, halve and pit each peach. Brush the cut sides with olive oil.
Step 3: Fry Face Down
Place the peaches face down in the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F on the air fryer setting for 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 4: Flip and Fill
Carefully open the air fryer and flip the peaches using a large spoon. Place a spoonful of the butter mixture in each peach.
Air fry peaches for an additional 3-5 minutes or until they begin to caramelize on top.
What Do Air Fried Peaches Taste Like?
Have you ever had a piece of peach pie where the gooey pie filling had plenty of spices? Fried peaches remind me of that.
It is a rich, sweet, and absolutely delicious dessert — and it’s so easy to make!
Do Grilled Peaches Need to Be Ripe?
For best results, you really want a firm peach that is not too soft. Otherwise, your air fried peaches will turn out mushy.
If you use an extra ripe peach, you will notice that it will tend to smoke more since those release more sugar. So, look for a peach that is on the cusp of being ripe, but not already ripe, when you air fry peaches.
What Kind of Peaches Are Best to Air Fry?
I suggest choosing a firm yellow variety when you make fried peaches. Ripe peaches will be too tender to cook, and the natural sugars will burn more easily.
What is a Serving Size?
Plan for one-half a peach per person. But hey, it is a fruit — so I won’t judge if you indulge in more than that!
How Do I Store Leftovers?
If you happen to have leftover fried peaches, they can be stored in an airtight container and reheated. Consume within 3 days.
However, should not freeze leftovers after cooking peaches in the air fryer. They will become mushy and mealy once thawed and reheated.
Are They Grilled? Are They Fried?
This recipe for air fried peaches is an easy way to recreate the flavor of grilled peaches without having to fire up the grill. And the results are delicious!
The sweet peach flavor is intensified when heated and perfectly balanced by the rich cinnamon.
Can I Substitute the Peaches?
Yes! You can follow this recipe for peaches in the air fryer using any variety of stone fruit. Try nectarines, plums, or apricots — even apples would work!
What to Serve with Grilled Peaches?
Some of my favorites are vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of honey or caramel, graham cracker crumbs, pecans, or fresh mint leaves.

Delicious! Thanks for such a great and easy recipe. I substituted coconut sugar for the brown sugar and it was really great. Would definitely make this again!

I’m getting an air fryer tomorrow & this might be the first thing I make! I looooove grilled peaches, but live in an apartment and can’t grill (pouty) and my oven heats up the place too much to do this in the summer (very pouty).
