Today, we will go over parts of the air fryer.
On the top of any air fryer is a heating chamber and a cooking basket, that slides in. Most of the air fryer cooker baskets, slide out when you push a button. The location of the button will change, based on the model you own.
One of the best features of any air fryer basket is the removable rack that either came with your air fryer or can be purchased as an add on, (for about $9.00, from Amazon.) I use it for grilling meats and for steaming vegetables.
All dishes that are oven safe (with the exception of a few) are air fryer safe.
My recommendation would purchase one air fryer accessory set, that will ensure that you have at least one pan that will fit into your air fryer basket, as you find more and more ways to use your air fryer.
The basket must be secure in order for the air fryer to operate.
Other suggestions would be to keep the air fryer on a heat resistant mat, please read your air fryer instructions, but I believe in protecting your counters, whether they are granite, tile, etc. The heat from the air fryer can do some serious damage.
And remember to keep the air fryer away from the wall or backsplash in the kitchen.
Always keep the air fryer unplugged when you are not using it.
