Pumpkin season is finally here, and if you are like me, you will just love pumpkin in everything. Today, I made a very simple Air Fryer Pumpkin Cake.

This is one of my favorite cakes and I have been making it every year since I got married. It is light, moist, and absolutely delicious. It’s so easy to make. Today, I made it in my cast-iron skillet.

Today, I frosted it with a homemade cream cheese frosting and sprinkled some walnuts on top. It is a rich and tasty dessert, and my kids loved it and asked when I would be making it again.

Some Common Questions About Making Cakes in the Air Fryer–

Can you cook cakes in an Air Fryer?

Yes, cakes come out really well in the air fryer. The trick is to find a pan that works. You do not want a pan that is too thick or the middle will never cook. I always recommend either a bundt cake pan or a thin pan. Skillets work fabulously in the air fryer since they are relatively thin.
