What Are Cranberries?

Cranberries are a type of berry that is usually red and can be found in grocery stores year-round. Cranberries grow on vines that need to be watered by hand or sprinklers, so they are typically grown in wet areas like the Northeast US. A cranberry bog is an area where people pick their own cranberries, but most people buy them at the store instead.

Cranberries are very popular around Thanksgiving and Christmas, and they make amazing add-ins!

PARCHMENT PAPER VERSUS NONSTICK COOKING SPRAY

The trick to baking cookies in the Air Fryer is to line your air fryer basket with parchment paper so the cookie dough does not fall through.

If you have an air fryer oven, I used the drip tray and sprayed it with non-stick cooking spray, which worked perfectly. You can also line your drip pan with aluminum foil.

WHAT KIND OF CHOCOLATE CHIPS SHOULD I USE?

Today, I used simple white chocolate chips since white chocolate chips go very well with the dried cranberries. My favorite brand is Ghirardelli White Chocolate Chips that you can easily find at Wal-Mart, Costco, and your local grocery store.

You can also use chocolate chips or mini chocolate chips.

HOW DO I STORE LEFTOVER COOKIES?

Every year, a new batch of cookies goes into the air fryer. And every year, there are always a few leftovers.

So how do you store leftover cookies? We’ve got you covered with these three easy steps for storing your favorite holiday treats!

1) Place them in an airtight container or ziplock bag and place them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh for up to 3 days.

2) Cover the cookie dough with plastic wrap and store them at room temperature for up to one week.

FREEZER INSTRUCTIONS:

You can easily freeze this cookie dough. For best results, shape into balls and freeze on a parchment-lined baking sheet! Once they are fully frozen, transfer them to freezer bags. These cookies will last between 2 to 3 months.

When you want to air fry up a batch, place the frozen cookies into the air fryer, and air fry for 7 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees F, air fryer setting.

HOW CAN I REHEAT THESE COOKIES?

Everyone loves a great warm gooey cookie, so I usually reheat these before serving. Place them into the microwave and heat until warmed through.
