While cinnamon rolls are usually served for breakfast, do not let the name fool you. They are a perfect dessert (and breakfast!)

Now, I’m not perfect. The drizzle could have been better designed, but what is inside is really amazing.

This is not the ordinary cake that you are used to. This is a light and buttery cake with a sweet center. My following recipe for my skillet and air fryer will be a coffee cake, so be on the lookout for that.

Faq’s

Making the Cake Gluten-Free:

If you want to make this gluten-free, substitute your favorite gluten-free flour. Just use the exact amounts.

Making The Cake Egg Free

You can substitute the eggs for unsweetened applesauce. For one egg, the equivalent measurement would be 1/3 cup.

Storing

This is an excellent recipe if you want to make it ahead of time, although I would advise against icing it until you are ready to serve. Let the cake cool completely to room temperature, then wrap it in saran wrap and place it on the counter or in the refrigerator.

When you want to serve the cake, simply make the icing and drizzle it on top.
