Air Fryer Christmas Sugar Cookie

Ingredients:

  • 1 Package of Pillsbury Sugar Cookies
  • Your Favorite Sprinkles

Simple Directions:

  1. Start with a package of COLD sugar cookie dough.
  2. Cut the dough into slices.
  3. Press your sprinkles into the cookies.
  4. Set the cookies into the air fryer basket for 5-6 minutes at 320 degrees F, air fryer setting.
  5. Let cool before removing, as they will harden up.

Some Tips About Making Cookies In An Air Fryer-

  1. Do Not Preheat the air fryer; otherwise, the dough will melt off before they have cooked.
  2. Keep your dough cold. The cold dough works best, even in between batches. I keep the dough in the refrigerator.
  3. The cookies will harden as they cool. So, once they are set simply, leave them in your air fryer, and then remove. If you try to remove them while they are hot, they will break apart.

Using Parchment Paper in the Air Fryer–

If you do not have an air fryer oven and want to make cookies, you will need to use parchment paper. Otherwise, the dough will fall between the basket holes.

The important thing to remember about parchment paper. Is to use the Cookie Paper, not the regular parchment with holes. Otherwise, your dough will fall between the holes.

Parchment paper can catch fire in the air fryer. You need to make sure it’s properly weighed down. Scatter your dough around the paper, so there is no chance that it will lift up.
