Air Fryer Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies are such an easy cookie to make in the air fryer.
Today, I am attempting to start my Christmas Cookie Palooza. If you have not made cookies in the air fryer, you are missing out. But don’t worry, even if you don’t want to make these in the air fryer, you can adapt them to a regular oven.
My mother always used to say that December was cookie season. She would parade her massive tray of cookies out and place on the table, for all the guest that would visit us during the Holiday; she baked all December. The cookies would either freeze them or keep them in a sealable package, so don’t worry, they were good. I promise you.
Today, I made some simple Nutella and Chocolate Cookies. These only have a few ingredients, and they are BIG on flavor. Coming from an Italian family, we used Nutella a lot in cooking.

Some Common Questions About Making Cookies in The Air Fryer–
How Do I Bake Cookies IN The Air Fryer?
This is a two-part question, and let me explain it to you. There are two types of air fryers. There are basket air fryers and oven air fryers.
Baking In An Air Fryer Oven:
Air Fryer Ovens make it simple for you to make cookies. You use the tray (sometimes called a drip tray) and place your dough on it, and it will act as a mini oven.
Baking In An Air Fryer Baskets:
Air Fryer Baskets have to be rigged (I’m sure that there is another word for it) to make it flat and holeless to make cookies. It’s a bit tricker, which is why I usually say if you want to bake cookies in the air fryer, you are better off with an air fryer oven.
But do not fret if you have an air fryer basket. This is what I do. You need to purchase air fryer parchment paper for cookies. You can not use the other type, as the dough will fall through.
This is the only place I know where To Buy It, I’m pretty sure stores will start to carry it soon. (affiliate link)

Warning: If you use these, you really need to make sure that you correctly cut it, as any loose parchment paper could potentially get caught in the heating element and catch fire. So check halfway and make sure you are good to go.
