This batch of donuts was soft, fluffy, and covered with a rich chocolate glaze. These donuts are also easy to make and taste like homemade, although they only take about 10 minutes from start to finish!
I love a great batch of homemade donuts, and the kids had a great start to the summer today with these donuts. (Chocolate swirls courtesy of my youngest) There is nothing better than a great homemade donut, and this one is perfect since you don’t have to wait for the dough to rise!

Ingredients Needed For Air Fryer Chocolate Glazed Puff Pastry Donuts
- Puff Pastry
- Egg
- Butter
- Powdered Sugar
- Cocoa Powder
- Milk

Start by laying out the defrosted puff pastry on a flat surface. Then use your biscuit cutter and cut out the larger circle. Continue to cut out all of the circles, until you run out of puff pastry.
Then use the smaller biscuit cutter and cut the middle out. Repeat until all the dough is used up.
As you cut them out, place them on a greased air fryer basket or greased air fryer tray. Then crack the egg, and place it into a small bowl. Use a fork to beat the egg. Use a pastry brush to brush the egg wash over the puff pastry.
Place the air fryer basket or tray into the air fryer and set the temperature to 330 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 5 minutes.
Let the donuts, cool, for about 5-10 minutes, while you mix all of the glaze ingredients into a small mixing bowl, keep on mixing, until you have a smooth glaze.
Spread the icing over the donuts.

How Do I Store Any Leftover Air Fryer Donuts?
If you have any donuts, place them into an airtight container, where they will last for about 2 days at room temperature.

Ingredients
Puff Pastry Donuts:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter

- 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2-3 tablespoons of milk
