I usually make these on the grill, but I really wanted to try them in the air fryer, and they were perfect. The meat was tender, but had the char look and taste. I marinated them for a really great flavor, and everyone loved them.
Chicken skewers used to be just made on the grill, but now that you have an air fryer, they are perfect all year round. No need to go to the grill, simply make them inside, whether it’s raining, snowing or sunshine.
This is a great KETO and low-carb meal.
How To Make Air Fryer Chicken Kebabs
Marinade Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Chicken Kebab Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 onion (optional) cut into 1 inch pieces
Simple Marinade Directions:
- Simply mix all of the marinate ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Simple Chicken Kebab Directions:
- Place your chicken into the marinade, cover and place in the refrigerator for 1 to 12 hours.
- Then thread the chicken, peppers and onions (if using).
- Preheat the air fryer 360 degrees F, for 5 minutes, air fryer setting.
- Place the chicken kebabs in the air fryer basket, cooking for 8 minutes.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
