We love how these quesadillas come together quickly without a lot of fussing around. It also makes them an excellent dish to make ahead of time as leftovers go great in lunches, especially with school coming up! They are so good! My kids love finding these in their lunchboxes.

Ingredients Needed For Air Fryer Quesadillas
- Caramelized Onions
- Minced Garlic
- Taco Seasoning
- Refried Beans
- Flour or Corn Tortillas
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Optional Toppings: Salsa, Sour Cream, Cilantro, Tomatoes, Shredded Cheees
How To Make Air Fryer Quesadillas
In a small mixing bowl, mix the caramelized onions, minced garlic, taco seasoning, and the refried beans.
Place a tortilla down, and then add a couple of tablespoons of filling in the center.
Add a couple of tablespoons of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the filling.
As you make them, place them on a greased air fryer tray or in a greased air fryer basket for 5 minutes at 350 degrees F. (air fryer setting)
Add some salsa, sour cream, diced cilantro, diced tomatillos, shredded cheese, and other garnishes!
Pro Tips:
- If you find that your tortillas are flying around, use toothpicks to keep them closed during the cooking process.
- Depending on the air fryer you own, you may need to flip them halfway during the cooking process.
- This recipe will work in any Air Fryer Basket or Oven Model. I have made these several times using the Ninja Foodi, Instant Pot Vortex, Instant Pot Crisp Lid, and even the Mealthy Lid, and the recipe works the same. The cooking time will vary depending on which air fryer you own and use.
- You can change these out for corn tortillas, for a gluten-free option.
