Ingredients Needed For Air Fryer Pizza
- Premade Pizza Shell (Boboli, etc.)
- Pizza Sauce
- Shredded Mozzarella
- Assorted Toppings
How To Make Air Fryer Pizza
Cut the pizza shell in half to fit on my air fryer rack or in your air fryer basket.
Then spread the pizza sauce over the shell. Then add the cheese.
Place in the oven and set the temperature to 250 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes, air fryer setting.
Pro Tips:
Blowing Cheese: If you have an air fryer basket model, you are best to put the cheese on last so it doesn’t blow all over the place. Add your cheese, and then scoop on the cheese. This way, you get a perfect slice of homemade pizza with a great flavor of the cheese.
What if I use precooked pizza dough: Cut the pizza to fit your air fryer. Depending on how large your air fryer is, you can either use mini Boboli shells or full size and cut to size.
Precooking Crust: Depending on your air fryer, if you want it to perfect crisp up, with a crispy bottom, place the crust into the air fryer for a couple of minutes at 320 degrees F, air fryer setting.
Make Ahead and Storing Easy Air Fryer Pizzas
If you want to make a bunch of pizzas over the weekend and eat them for a school lunch or just making them ahead of time, here are some great tips:
Let the pizzas cool to room temperature, and then warp them in saran wrap, or cover them with aluminum foil.
Reheat the pizza at 3 to 5 minutes at 350 degrees F, air fryer setting.
To Freeze: Let the pizzas cool to room temperature, and then place them on a greased baking sheet. Place the baking sheet into the freezer, and freeze until frozen solid. Then transfer them into a freezer bag or freezer container.
To use, place the frozen pizzas into the air fryer basket or tray, and air fry at 400 degrees F, air fryer setting for 10 to 12 minutes.
