Air Fryer Caramel Apple Trail Mix is an excellent fall snack. There is nothing better than an excellent apple snack after school.

A light and flavorful snack, this is a great party snack, and everyone loves a beautiful homemade mix filled with flavor.

Today, I used some fall flavors and then headed up the mix in the Air Fryer. The air fryer does a fantastic job of perfectly melting the caramel, so the full fall flavor is fully effective.

What Is Trail Mix?

Trail mix is a mixture of nuts, seeds, and dried fruit that you can put together to take on an adventure or serve as an appetizer! This recipe will show you how to make this homemade trail mix right in your air fryer! For a delicious snack!

Trail mixes are usually made with a combination of ingredients like chocolate chips, cranberries, almonds, and peanuts. But don’t feel limited by these options! There’s no wrong way to go about making your variety pack- remember to have fun experimenting with different foods until you find something that suits your taste buds perfectly.

Let’s get started!

What Makes A Great Trail Mix

Trail mix is a delicious snack that you can pack for your hikes or bring to the movies. It’s also an easy recipe to make with ingredients that are probably already in your kitchen!

As fall approaches, it is time to stock up on all of those tasty seasonings and nuts, so you will be ready when the weather cools down. This recipe makes for a great back-to-school snack for the lunchboxes or a game-day treat!

There are usually three great components to any great trail mix!

Protein: This will keep you filled for a while, whether you choose, almonds, pecans, cashews, or even macadamia nuts.

Dried Fruit: Dried fruit is a great way to get your energy levels up and help you feel more awake during those morning sluggish moments. Look for dried fruits without any added sugars, such as raisins or cherries; they taste delicious in trail mix too!.

Treats: I usually add some candy if I am making these for my kids or guests. Add some Reese’s Pieces, M&M’s, or other small chocolate snacks.
