Start by adding your bacon to the air fryer crisper basket. On the side of if you are making a bunch, you can run the air fryer once with the bacon and then again with the eggs.

Eggs in Ramekins Close Up

Preheat air fryer to 400°F. (This is optional, cook time may take 1-2 minutes longer if you do not preheat the air fryer)

Can I Use Biscuits or English Muffin Instead Of Croissants?

Yes, this is an easy recipe to change out. Use whatever bread you have on hand. You can even make this with regular old sandwich bread

If you do use biscuits, make sure that the biscuits are fully cooked.

How Do You Keep Eggs To Keep Shape In Air Fryer

I have always used ramekins, but you can also use silicone muffin tins, which will keep your eggs in the right shape for your Air Fryer Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant Sandwiches.

Other Ways To Jazz Up Your Air Fryer Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant Sandwiches

While, I made this Bacon Egg and Cheese, there are so amny wasy that you can change this oup, some of my favorites are:

  • Meat: Use Canadian Bacon, Sausage, or even vegan meat products.
  • Cheese: Use any cheese you liked, I used Chedda,r but anything would work, including gouda, mozzarella, sharp, blue cheese, etc.
  • Herbs: Use any fresh herbs that are in season.
  • Bread: Any bread that you have on hand will work for this sandwich.

How To Keep Sandwiches Warm

I usually make these sandwiches as we eat them since they are quick and you can really only eat one at a time. But if you have a large party and want to make these, I would run the bacon in one batch and the eggs in another.

Then when you go to assemble them, after you assemble place them back into the air fryer to reheat them. This will work because the cheese will also melt really well.

Can You Meal Prep These Breakfast Sandwiches

Yes, You can make these and then freeze them. There is nothing better than a homemade breakfast sandwich made in the Air Fryer.

To Freeze: Assemble as directed, and then let them cool to room temperature. Wrap the sandwiches in saran wrap and then in a layer of foil. Place them into the freezer, where they will last for about 3 to 5 weeks.

To Use From Freeze: YOu can either thaw them out or place them into the air fryer frozen. If you cook them from frozen, place the frozen breakfast sandwiches into the air fryer basket, and set the temperature to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 5 to 8 minutes.
