Everyone loves an easy morning breakfast; this is my take on a simple air fryer breakfast. One day my oven broke, so I turned to my trusted new kitchen appliance and came up with Air Fryer Apple Coffee Cake. Because fall is always better with apples in the recipe.

Easy Air Fryer Apple Coffee Cake

This is one of the easiest coffee cakes that you will ever make. It’s a perfect breakfast food, easy to make, and delicious. If you double the recipe, it’s perfect for those lazy Saturdays or Sunday mornings. And this would make a great Christmas morning breakfast, especially if you are looking for an air fryer under the tree.

My mother has been making this coffee cake for years; I am sure she got the recipe from the Bisquick box. But however, she found the recipe, and it’s been my family’s favorite for years. Easy to make, and most of the ingredients are already in your refrigerator or pantry.

My kids used to be afraid to eat coffee cake since they stated they didn’t like coffee; there is no coffee usually found in coffee cake. They named it that because you eat the cake with your morning coffee.

HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER APPLE COFFEE CAKE

Ingredients:

Cake:

  • 2 cups Bisquick Mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 apple, sliced.

Topping:

  • 1/3 cup Bisquick Mix
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter

In a large mixing bowl, mix together the Bisquick mix, milk, sugar, and egg.

Set the pan in the air fryer for 12-16 minutes at 320 degrees F. The actual time will depend on what air fryer you own and how thick the pan is that you made the coffee cake in.

Description

This is a really quick coffee cake, with delicious sliced apples, this makes for a perfect fall breakfast. This pairs well with a hot cup of coffee.

Ingredients 

Cake:

  • 2 cups Bisquick Mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large apple , sliced

Topping:

  • 1/3 cup Bisquick Mix
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together the Bisquick mix, milk, sugar, and egg
  • Mix well.
  • Spray your pan with olive oil.
  • Pour your batter into the prepared pan, and then spread the apples out.
  • In a small mixing, bowl mix together the Bisquick mix, ground cinnamon, melted butter, and brown sugar. Mix well.
  • Scatter the topping on top.
