Air Fryer Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

Air Fryer Lemon Poppy Seed Bread is the perfect way to get your morning going. Lemon Poppy Seed Bread is a quick bread, usually served with icing on top. It makes a great breakfast or dessert.

I usually go to Starbucks in the afternoon and grab a cup of coffee and a slice of their baked quick breads. But, today, it was so cold out, I decided to turn to my “Easy-Bake Oven,” as my son charming calls my air fryer.

You only need a few ingredients for this recipe; probably most are in your pantry and a lot of poppy seeds.

PRO TIPS FOR THIS RECIPE

  • One of the most important things in baking is to really measure your flour correctly. If you add too much or too little flour,  it will make a huge difference in your quick bread.
  • For best results in baking in the Air Fryer, you should use mini loaf pans, since a lot of people have problems with the middle baking up.
  • Check the Air Fryer Lemon Poppy Seed Bread frequently during the cooking process since every air fryer is slightly different.

Some Common Questions Asked About Making Air Fryer Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

HOW SHOULD YOU STORE IT?

Due to the glaze on the Lemon Poppy Seed Bread, I usually cover and refrigerate, otherwise, I find that the glaze starts to melt.

So, let the bread cool to room temperature and then cover with a piece of saran wrap and place into the refrigerator.

It should last for at least 3 to 4 days.

CAN YOU FREEZE THIS?

Yes, this is a great bread to make ahead and freeze. Although, you should not glaze the cake, before freezing.

Wrap the bread up in saran wrap and then a layer of aluminum foil. Place into the freezer, it will last for about 2 to 3 months.

To thaw, place it into the refrigerator, until thawed. Then make a new batch of icing and drizzle over it.
