Everyone loves cornbread. There is nothing like a huge piece of cornbread going with your soup, chili, or even BBQ.
Today I used my new air fryer, the Instant Pot Vortex Plus, grabbed a box mix of Jiffy and adapted it, with a few of my mother’s tricks, And came up with this.
If you have not baked in the air fryer, this is a great and easy recipe to get you started.

This is a very easy way to jazz up a boxed cornbread, today I used Jiffy Cornbread Mix.
- 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Start by emptying the cornbread mix, milk, sour cream, honey and egg into a large mixing bowl.
- Mix well.
- Pour into your air fryer safe pan, which has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
- Set into the air fryer basket or in the air fryer overn, and bake for 325 degrees for about 15 minutes, use a toothpick to check the center for doneness, once it’s fully cooked, remove.
- Plate, serve and enjoy!
