This is a great way to dress up a plain piece of toast, and get a fast breakfast. Today, my recipe for Air Fryer Cinnamon and Raisin Toast.
Next time that I try this, I will search for Texas toast because I feel this would be truly amazing. Today I just used what I had in the pantry and came up with this. My youngest son absolutely loves cinnamon and raisin toast.
Another great twist would be to drizzle some maple syrup on top. I think that would be amazing!
Air Fryer Cinnamon and Raisin Toast
Ingredients:
- 2 slices whole-wheat bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons raisins
Simple Directions:
- Start by softening the butter. Either leave it out for about 30 minutes or use the microwave for about 10 seconds until it just gets softened to mix. You do not want it melted.
- Then mix in the sugar.
- Then mix in the ground cinnamon.
- Then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Mix in the raisins.
- Mix well until it’s all well combined.
- Layout the bread
- Then spread the cinnamon mixture on the bread, making sure it’s all covered.
- Set the toast in your air fryer basket.
- Set the temperature to 400 degrees F.
- Set the time for 5 minutes.
- Then remove them from the air fryer basket. Let cool for a few minutes and then cut in half.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
