Today I decided to make a copycat version of Air Fryer Copycat Recipe-Marie Callender’s Famous Golden Cornbread with Honey Butter.

Are you an air fryer fan? I am, and I love how easy it is to make delicious food in my little appliance. Recently, I decided to try my hand at making a copycat version of Marie Callender’s cornbread. Let me tell you, it was a success! If you’re looking for an easy recipe that doesn’t require many ingredients, this is the one for you. Keep reading for the recipe.

  • All-Purpose Flour: If you want you can use gluten-free all-purpose flour, for an easy gluten-free cornbread. 
  • Cornmeal: You can use either white or yellow cornmeal. 
  • Granulated Sugar: You can also use half a sugar subsite, such as Splenda, or use brown sugar, for a sweeter cornbread.
  • Baking Powder: Use fresh baking powder. 
  • Salt: Adds some seasoning and texture.
  • Eggs: Use large, room-temperature eggs. 
  • Milk: You can use either almond milk, coconut milk, or even oat milk, for a dairy-free alternative.
  • Vegetable Oil: You can also use canola oil. 

How To Cook Marie Callender’s In The Air Fryer

Cornbread

Add the flour to a large mixing bowl. Add the cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt, and mix well. Then add the eggs, milk, and vegetable oil, mixing well.

Pour the ingredients into your air fryer safe pan. which is sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.  Place the pan into your air fryer basket for 20 minutes at 340 degrees F. After the time is done, use a toothpick and stick it in the middle of the cornbread; if it comes out clean, you are done. If not, add a few more minutes to cook it fully. 

Remove from the air fryer basket and let cool.

This is a really easy and delicious recipe. It’s a copycat recipe of the very popular, Marie Callender’s Famous Golden Cornbread with Honey Butter

Ingredients 

Cornbread Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Honey Butter Ingredients:

  • 1 stick butter, unsalted and room temperature
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Mix well.
  • Then add the eggs, milk, and vegetable oil.
  • Mix well.
  • Pour the ingredients into your air fryer safe pan. which is sprayed with non-stick cooking spray
