Pro Tips:

Flour: Flour is a key ingredient in any recipe, but it’s important to measure correctly. One way you can do this without scales (or if yours has disappeared) involves putting your cup on top of another larger object like a bowl or pot until the two are even; then scooping out what would have been filled by sprinkling more onto one side before leveling off with a knife.

Rolling: One of the most common mistakes when making buttermilk biscuits is rolling your dough too thin. The problem with this? Your biscuits will be flat and tough! If you want light, airy biscuits roll them about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.

Overmixing: for really flaky Air Fryer Baking Powder Biscuits do not overmix them. As you overmix the dough the dough will release gluten, which will make your biscuits hard.

Butter: I love brushing the tops of the biscuits with butter, they really make for a great fluffy biscuit. If you do not want to use butter, you can also do an egg wash.

Can I Add Cheese To My Biscuits?

The answer to that question is a resounding “yes”! You can add cheese to your biscuits any way you like, and it will always taste delicious. In fact, many cooks prefer to add cheese to their biscuits because it gives them a richer flavor and makes them more tender. So go ahead and experiment with different kinds of cheese to find the perfect combination for your taste buds. You won’t be disappointed!

How To Store

After you have whipped up a fresh batch of biscuits, it is important to store them properly so that they stay fresh and delicious.

For best results, let the biscuits cool to room temperature, and then place them into an airtight container or an airtight bag. They will last at room temperature for a couple of days.

How To Reheat Biscuits

Few foods are as comforting as a freshly baked biscuit, still warm from the air fryer. But what do you do if you have leftover biscuits? Here’s how to reheat them so they taste just as good as when they were first made.

Cut the biscuits in half, and then place them into the air fryer, heat until they are warm. For even more flavor, place a piece of butter in the middle of the biscuits, for a great way to elevate the flavor!
