Pro Tips:

  • This recipe will work in any air fryer model, whether it’s the Ninja Foodi, Instant Pot Vortex, GoWise, Nuwave, or any other Air Fryer Basket or Oven Model. The key will be to find a pan that fits. I have added a couple of my favorites below.
  • There is no need to overmix the batter; once the batter is combined, you can continue with the recipe. If you keep on mixing, you will end up with dense donuts.
  • You can use any of your favorite glazes for these donuts or eat them plain.
  • These donuts are best eaten on the same day that you make them.
  • This recipe will also double as cupcakes if you do not have a donut pan.

How To Store Donuts:

If you have any leftovers, let them cool to room temperature and wrap them in plastic wrap.

Completely sealed, they will keep at room temperature for about 1 to 2 days. For any longer, place them into the refrigerator, where they will last for 3-4 days.

Can You Freeze Donuts?

Yes, these are great make-ahead breakfasts that will last for about 2 to 3 months in the freezer. Do not ice or glaze them for best results before you freeze them.

To freeze, let the donuts cool to room temperature, and then place them into a freezer bag.

To use from the freezer, either thaw in the refrigerator or on the counter and then frost or ice them for best results.

What Air Fryer Donut Pans To Use
