This is a very quick dessert, it is not homemade. So, if you are looking for truly homemade stuff, you probably need to check out another blog. I am all about doable. as most of you that have been reading my blog for a while, I am a mom, I have 2 children, I work full time and run this blog. Once you throw in that I’m a hockey mom, you will see my time is very limited.
I purchased the Instant Pot originally to make quick and healthy meals, I loved it so much, I started making recipes, hence this blog. Then one day, I was looking for an alternative way to cook my meat, and my sister mentioned the Air Fryer. So, I purchased a really cheap (but I love it) air fryer, and my kids gobbled up the meat, so I started using the Instant Pot for soups, pasta dishes, rice, etc. while I used the air fryer for the meat for the meal.
But, my kids also like desserts, I mean they are 14 and 16, what kids don’t like desserts, and probably like most of you, I do not have time to spend hours in the kitchen, making them a 10 pm snack, because that’s when my kids are hungry, so I started hacking around with baking. Extremely healthy, KETO friend, Weight Watcher friendly, no, but they are kid-friendly and time friendly. So, I love them. I know some of you do, I hope that if you do, you will leave me a comment, because I do appreciate them and if you are a member of my group, Air Fryer Tips, and Recipes, you will know that I respond to all of your messages, because they are important to me.
So, today I played around with Puff Pastry, mostly because my kids wanted a snack, and I had puff pastry in my freezer, and I love going shopping and putting stuff in my freezer, so today was one of the days to grab something out.
It is easy, you can change out the filling to anything. So, it’s a win, win.
