You can easily find an alphabet activity to fit the letter you’re currently working on or do a new letter every week.
Today, I am representing the Letter A
Apples are all the range in my house during September. Jason fell in love with the Sensory Box ideas, last year and he is continuing help me assemble them.
I wanted to do something different with the first Sensory Box
for the Year, so I debated between rice, pasta and we decided
on green split peas. For, both their color and the texture.
We scoured the stores for Apple Theme Stuff, which was harder than one would think,
so we settled down, and looked through Amazon.
I have to admit, I probably spent way too much time browsing, for a GREAT sensory bin, to start our season off.
I found this AMAZING, and space saver bin for the year, click here, to see it’s awesomeness.
Then, I looked for something unusual to fill the bin up with.
I settled on a bag of green split peas, which I thing really made the Sensory Bin Pop.
Then, I added some goodies, such as Red Pompoms, red measuring spoons, real fruit (both red and green),
small imitation apples, (which were Jason’s favorites) and some other things, I had around the house.
The verdict, by the KIDS was it’s a winner!
